Our Philosophy

Where Children Come First

Our centre provides various type of resources for children to explore. Children enjoy play experiences which also involves learning purposes.  Children could engage with people from different cultures, background and age group which enhance their social skills in their early years. It is a place for children to establish relationships, a place to support children in developing their unique personality.

Diversity & Inclusive Practices

Australia is a multicultural society, it is important for children to understand and learn to respect others in the early age. We celebrate the benefits of diversity with each individual child and enable them to understand and acknowledge differences.

The ‘environment’ we wish to create within an early childhood setting

With years of experience as educators, we know just what it takes to engage our children. Our unique teaching approach makes our children feel valued, respected and appreciated. At Get Set Grow, we believe in fostering a creative, collaborative, and engaging experience to help our children reach their full potential and help them pursue their dreams. Our environment reflects our values

We value an environment with natural beauty and respect. We believe nature is the best environment for children to grow and learn. It is important to learn about sustainable practices amongst nature. We encourage children to play amongst sand, water, dirt, plants, animals, rainbows and insects within daily routines.

Dream. Challenge. Succeed.

Our Role

Our beliefs as to how children learn

We believe children learn through play. All children are capable and confident learners and they are all different individuals. As Educators our role is to implement programs, create an environment that reflects both individual and group needs which are based on children’s interests, culture, learning, and development. Encourage and support children with engaging in play experiences and establishing relationships with educators and peers. Reflect on practices and beliefs regularly to meet current situations. All decisions are made based on the best interest of the children.

The family’s role

Providing quality care and education

Family is the first educator for their children. Their practices and background is the main element to structure their child’s personality. Our educators will communicate with families on a child’s development and behaviours. Support families in educating and nurturing children. Develop share planning and practices with families to maintain consistency for children between home and the centre.

The child’s role

Play Right In

Children have the right to voice out their ideas and to choose their interesting activities to participate in. Allowing children to contribute to the curriculum and involve them in decisions that will affect them. Children have the right to belong to different communities and social groups.
