Why us?
Over 10 Years Of Care, Learning And Growth
For over 10 years, Get Set Grow Early Learning Centre has supported children and families through the most important years of early development.
Since opening, our focus has remained the same: to provide a warm, nurturing and high-quality early learning environment where children feel safe, confident and ready to grow.
As a locally focused early learning centre, we are deeply connected to the families and community we serve. We are not a large franchise-style service with decisions made far away from the children, families and educators in our care. Instead, our decisions are guided by the real needs of our local families, the children in our rooms and the quality of practice we want to maintain each day.
This allows us to be responsive, flexible and personal in the way we support children and families. We take the time to listen, communicate and build genuine relationships. Families are not treated as numbers, and children are not expected to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach.
At Get Set Grow, we believe quality comes from strong relationships, consistent educators, thoughtful environments and a deep understanding of each child as an individual.
We are deeply committed to children’s development across all areas, including:
-
Social and emotional wellbeing
-
Language and communication
-
Physical development
-
Early literacy and numeracy
-
Independence and self-help skills
-
Confidence and resilience
-
Creativity, curiosity and problem-solving
-
Relationships and sense of belonging
Our educators understand that every child develops at their own pace. Through daily observations, intentional teaching and strong relationships, we get to know each child as an individual.

A Local Centre With A Personal Approach
Families often tell us that what they value most is the personal connection they feel when they walk through our doors.
Being locally focused means we can listen closely to families, respond to children’s individual needs and make decisions based on what is best for our centre community. Our priority is not rapid expansion or becoming the biggest provider. Our priority is providing consistent, meaningful and high-quality care for the children and families who are with us now.
This means we focus on:
-
Knowing each child by name, personality, interests and needs
-
Building strong partnerships with families
-
Creating consistent routines that help children feel secure
-
Supporting educators to form genuine relationships with children
-
Responding to family feedback in a timely and respectful way
-
Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and wellbeing
-
Creating a centre culture where children, families and educators feel they belong
We believe that early learning should feel warm, connected and personal. Children thrive when they are surrounded by educators who know them well, understand their development and work in partnership with their family.

Supporting Each Child’s Development
At Get Set Grow, we believe early childhood is a critical time for learning, growth and development.
Our educators observe children’s play, communication, movement, social interactions and emotional wellbeing as part of our everyday practice. These observations help us plan meaningful learning experiences and identify each child’s strengths, interests and emerging skills.
If educators notice that a child may need additional support in an area of development, we communicate with families in a respectful and supportive way.
This may include areas such as:
-
Speech and language development
-
Social interaction and play skills
-
Emotional regulation
-
Fine or gross motor skills
-
Sensory processing
-
Independence and self-care
-
Attention, listening and engagement
-
Confidence in routines and transitions
We do not diagnose children. Instead, we work in partnership with families to share observations, discuss concerns early and support families to seek further guidance where needed.
Early conversations can make a meaningful difference. When children receive the right support early, they are more likely to build confidence, develop new skills and participate more fully in their learning environment.
Where appropriate, we can work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and support services to help each child reach their potential.

Why Our Approach Matters
Choosing an early learning centre is not only about location or convenience. It is about finding a place where your child will be known, respected, supported and encouraged to grow.
At Get Set Grow, we are proud to offer a local, relationship-focused alternative to larger, standardised early learning models. Our centre is built on connection, trust, communication and genuine care.
We believe children deserve educators who notice the small things, celebrate progress and work closely with families to support each child’s learning journey.
For us, quality means being present, responsive and committed to the children and families in front of us every day.
